Schedule

A cleaning schedule that moves with you

A cleaning schedule is a week plan: which job on which day. For one person a short schedule is enough. Five small turns spread through the week keep the home up to date without a Saturday that fills the whole afternoon.

Use the days as a rhythm. Shift the job when the home runs differently that week, for example after guests or a busy evening of cooking.

Schedule for an ordinary home

Day Turn Time
Monday Countertop and hob 10 minutes
Tuesday Toilet 10 minutes
Wednesday Basin 5 minutes
Friday Shower 15 minutes
Saturday Floors 20 minutes

How often each part really needs attention is covered under the kitchen, the toilet and the bathroom.

A schedule that gets left behind

A schedule on paper does not know what you skipped on Tuesday. The next week the same day is there again, while the toilet has fallen further behind than the floors. Then you clean something that can still wait, and leave what would make the home feel fresh most.

Tidyo stores when an item was last done and puts at the top what makes the most difference now. The schedule is the start. The list moves with you.
