Example for four people
| Day | Who | Turn |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | Housemate 1 | Countertop and hob |
| Tuesday | Housemate 2 | Toilet: bowl, seat and floor |
| Wednesday | Housemate 3 | Basin and shower |
| Thursday | Housemate 4 | Kitchen and bathroom floors |
| Friday | Together, 15 minutes | Whatever was left that week |
Swap the names every month, not the tasks every week. That way everyone learns to actually finish one turn.
When the rota no longer fits
A fixed Tuesday for the toilet does not know there was a dinner. Then on Wednesday the countertop needs attention more than the shower. The rota stays useful as the agreement about who frees up time. The order of the work may be different that week.
Tidyo shows that order across every room. Everyone opens the same list. The person whose turn it is on the rota takes what is at the top.
