Short answers to common questions.
How does onboarding work?
After you register, you set up your household in a few steps: who's at home, rooms, items per room, and optionally how long ago something was done. Then you land on the dashboard.
What do the priorities mean?
Priorities rank items by time since cleaning and impact. At the top are the things that freshen your home fastest if you do them now — often across rooms.
How do I mark something as clean?
Tap or click Done on an item. Optionally choose who did it and add a note. The item then counts as just cleaned and the score drops.
Can I undo a mark?
Yes. Right after you mark it, a short message appears with Undo. Only the latest mark for that item can be rolled back this way.
How do I add housemates?
Go to Settings → Housemates. Add a name. Those names appear when you mark something as clean, so you can see who did what.
How do I add or delete a room?
On Rooms, choose + Add room (type plus an optional name). On the room page you can delete the room; its items and logs go with it.
Why does something need attention more often?
It depends on the item (default days until the next turn) and your household (number of people and type). More use means it comes round sooner.
Is there an Android app?
Yes. Tidyo is on Google Play. Search for Tidyo, or use the Download on Google Play button on the homepage.
Does Tidyo work offline?
The app and site need a connection to the Tidyo API to load and save data. Without a network you won't see the current state.
