Privacy policy

1. Data we process

• Account: name, email address, and password (stored encrypted).
• Household: household name, type, number of people, and rooms.
• Items and cleaning: which things you track, cleaning settings, and cleaning logs (when something was done and by whom, if you fill that in).
• Housemates: names you add yourself to assign tasks.
• Technical: login sessions (for example tokens or cookies) to keep you signed in.

2. Purposes

We use this data to:

• manage your account and household;
• calculate priorities and cleaning scores;
• show cleaning actions and undo them;
• keep the app secure (authentication, preventing misuse).

We do not sell your data.

3. Sharing with third parties

Data stays within Tidyo, except when we use a hosting or infrastructure provider that processes the data on our behalf (a data-processing agreement). We do not share marketing profiles with advertisers.

4. How long we keep it

We keep account and household data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or household, we erase the related data within a reasonable time, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

5. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data via info@tidyo.nl. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

6. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures (including encrypted passwords and secure connections). No system is completely watertight; report suspected misuse as soon as you can.
